E.P.C. Closing Ceremony

The last day of E.P.C. , there were 2 sessions , one for production Dep. And the other one for CSD :D. The closing ceremony was really great, the feedback from the attendants made every one of the team totally forget that he is very tired and need some sleep :D. actually the words make us really happy and satisfied with what we did for them ( el7mdulallah :) ) the funny part was the video which made by 2 of Arch. Dep. It was cool :D:D I like it very very much and the comments were funny :D. Actually there was some thing strange :D in the workshop of CSD the attendants like the department very much :D in spite of what we had told them, I met someone who told me that she wasn't want to be in CSD after the workshop she changed her mind :D . They were Insistent to solve the placement test, after solving it and handed it they were very happy because of the test it was cool for them ;) !! . Finally, I know I'm going to miss that days by getting up tomorrow and just remember that I don't have to woke up early any more :D. Thanks for every one I really enjoyed working with you and hope to do it next year ISA :).

For the first time in Alexandria University, Engineering Placement conference had been held by The Faculty of Engineering under the supervision of the Mathematics and Physics department . The Conference is targeting freshmen students to introduce them to the various available engineering careers, enlightening their awareness of their academic life through every department in the faculty to enable them from choosing a suitable department that suits their talents and dreams. The conference includes ; Introductory talks to each department, inspirational speeches, interactive sessions, workshops & placement tests. I applied to be an organizer and I'm now one of the team which consist of more than 4 student from each department. We held meetings and distributed the tasks for each team; in a very short time every thing was ready after just one week !! Can you believe it one week every thing was really ready lecture hall, permissions and we start registration for 4 days. The Opening of the conference was 3 days ago and it was amazing day. The conference last for 4 days each day includes some lectures for each department after the end of the lectures there are workshops and finally there is placement test. Tomorrow there will be lecture and workshop for Computer and production departments then is going to be the closing ceremony; it will be great day ISA :).Hope all of you enjoy.

Software Freedom Day @ Alexandria University 2010

Four days ago since SFD 2010 finished , Open source culture is separate more and more. This year the event was held for three days whit 8 sessions also there were contests and prizes for the first five. Like last year there were study groups in some fields like JavaFX and Android. I really enjoyed it with SFD team and OSUM team, wish all of you enjoy the event too :) . Now I will let you with some photos of the event and the team. Enjoy it.

Software Freedom Day @ Alexandria University

Here we go again, Software Freedom Day @ Alexandria University will be held @ 24-8-2010; the fun will start. Some ask what Software Freedom Day is; what’s our target; so let’s start with the term Open Source; what’s Open source? The aim of that event is to spread the culture of Open source and its concepts. Software Freedom Day (SFD) is a worldwide celebration of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). The goal in this celebration is to educate the worldwide public about the benefits of using high quality FOSS in education, in government, at home, and in business -- in short, everywhere! The non-profit company Software Freedom International coordinates SFD at a global level, providing support, giveaways and a point of collaboration, but volunteer teams around the world organize the local SFD events to impact their own communities.

The event targets people interested in FOSS technology and principles but also -mainly- people who don't have any background, don’t know anything about open source but are willing to learn about it. We believe that providing the public with information about open source will increase the adoption of open source software and replace- to some extend - closed source software.

Our goal is to foster a general understanding of software freedom, encourage adoption of free software and open standards and celebrate software freedom and the people behind it.
By this we hope to increase the awareness of open source software among our community.
Our mission is to spread the word of open source in our city in every possible way, to give students the urge to learn, use, develop and share different open source technologies, to tell students about technologies that they would want to use and help them use it during this period.

اذبهلال صرصور

اسم البوست غريب اوى بس والله هو جه كده فى محاضره من محاضرات الكنترول اللى كلنا بنحبها صباح الخير يا جماعه :D:D

محدش يسالنى الساعه كام علشان اقول صباح الخير احنا حياتنا ماشيه زى الخفافيش احيانا بحس انى خفاش مش من بنى ادم اطلاقا :D

نرجع للكنترول .... ماده لذيذه جدااااااااااا وسهله وشيقه للغايه ... سامحنى يارب على الكدبه البشعه دى ... والدكتور قاعد فى امان اللى بيشرحلنا حاجه كده انا مش كنت سمعاها اساسا بس هو كان حاجه اكيد سهله .. واذ بيه فجاه جه فى بالى صرصور يعينى ارتكب جريمه بشعه على الصبح ادت بيه الى وجوده هائما على وجهه فى كليه الهندسه ومش فى اى مكان فيها لالالا فى قسم كمبيوتر ومش فى اى ماده دى ماده كنترول اكيد اكيد كان مزعل مامته قبل ما ينزل من البيت :D:D

طبعا انا ولا سامعه المحاضره ومركزه فى تخيل الصرصور بتاعى جه مذبهل من مناظرنا ناس نايمه واللى بيحاول يفهم واللى بيضحك ... اكيد انا :D:D

وعلى وشه نظره بؤس رهيبه بجد صعبنا عليه اوى وهو مش فاهم احنا مالنا بس مين عامل فينا كده حب يعرف..... دور وشه يشوف مين واقف قدامنا لقى حبيبنا واقف ..... وصوته مش باين خالص مع ان فى مايك اتجاب بس معلش بقى مش على اعلى تقنيه :D:D

ووقتها فهم الصرصور احساسنا وحب يعمل اى حاجه تساعدنا كان عمال يدير ما بينا وما بين الدكتور وكانه بيقول اعمل ايه اعمل ايه اعمل ايه طب انادى بتوع اتحاد الطلبه يغلسوا عليه اصله مش بيحب يبقى فى صوت :d

ولا اروح اقف قدامه يمكن يكون عنده حساسيه من الصراصير ولا ايه وكان فى علامات تعجب على وش الصرصور البرئ بيسال سؤال واحد بس قوليلى اعملكوا ايه .... بس واسفاه مفيش حاجه تتعمل لما حس بخيبه الامل ان مفيش حاجه تتعمل مالقاش حل غير انه يجى يقعد جنبى يونسنى فى سرحانى العميق ده والشخبطه اللى بشخبطها كالعاده وكل ده انا ولا فى الحاضر خالص وشويه وكنت انا والصرصور هنلعب شطرنج ولا حاجه :D:D

وفجاه فوقت على صوت ساره من اللى كنت فيه على ما جمعت احنا بقينا فين وليه وببص على صرصورى اختفى مشى ليه....ليه.....ليه يا ساره فوقتينى بس كنت خلاص هكسبه :P:P

بس مسيره يجى تانى مش هيهون عليه يسبنا لوحدنا بعد ما شاف اللى بيحصلنا ....ارجع اكمل اللى ورايا بقى مع وجيه :D:D
